Dealing With Hair Loss - What Can I Do?

According to the last survey their are 85 million people suffering from progressive hair loss. Thinning hair can affect anyone. Men aren't the only ones that this happens to, women can also experience hair loss. Men can have male-pattern baldness, and women can have female-pattern baldness.

Those that are experiencing thinning hair will notice that their hair constantly deteriorates in quality, and becomes thinner. Losing hair on the crown is very common for men and then it starts to become thinner all over the top of the head.

Hair loss is affected by a hormone called DHT (dihydrotestosterone), DHT cuts off the blood circulation to the hair follicles. The longer the hair goes without it’s nutrients (brought in by blood), the more hair loss will be experienced.

Surgery and prescription drugs are avaialble but proceed with caution when using these methods. The safety of these methods is still unknown, so proceed with caution.

Prescription drugs are available but they are very expensive and they can be potetially damaging to the body, and among the other ingredients, the active ingredients are linked to harmful side effects. Surgery is painfull and can be very expensive. There isn’t a lot of skin to work with up there, so anytime the follicles are moved around or something is taken out, the scars are very visible.

By preventing excessive DHT you will start to reverse the hair loss. The best way to get DHT under control is to fix it from the inside out using natural treatments. Vitamins are available that are specfically for hair loss, and they also block DHT from killing off the hair follicles.
